Not everyone feels so confident about being their own stylist or simply, has time to go shopping. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone who could handle all those errands and a stylist dedicated to dress you up the way you like? Sounds like almost too much to ask, right? Well, Clotie takes care of all the concerns you have, and even more.

Once you fill out the style test and have your subscription going, your personal stylist will create a five-piece combination just for you within the frequency you decide beforehand. We seem to hear what you say “what if I don’t like it?”. That’s the other case which makes Clothie different than online shopping – besides the fact that you have your own stylist, of course –. Their refund policy genuinely prevents any kind of dissatisfaction and lets you try all the pieces you get; then set a shipment date, for the items you don’t like without any extra cost. So, there is no risk, folks!

Clotie is a subscription-based online personal styling service that sends clothing to your door with free shipping and returns. Problems, that we focused on, are difficulties in offline shopping, experience problems in online shopping like buying clothes without trying them on your body that causes high return rates more than %30. We have solved all these problems also adding extra styling service. We are offering a premium service, personal styling, to the mass at an affordable price.

Tell us about your team.

We are five motivated people that fall in love with all types of subscription services. We have one business, one technology, one operation, and two fashion addict mates.

When and why did you found your startup?

In the US, I had a chance to try Stitch Fix, a similar service. The experience that I lived in was perfect. We got impressed and want to give this similar premium service in Europe and MENA starting from Turkey.

What are your key and unique features?

Putting our customers first! The reason they subscribe to our service is the experience. The experience we have created for them is unique and premium. We are offering them to solve all shopping, clothing and style problems at home without any move. That is why all our boxes are unique, customized and also personalized with some notes. In the backstage, we are using well-developed technology to combine data and clients’ need. Our stylists can see all they need about clients on a screen, and easily prepare their boxes from all tagged, visualized and categorized stock items. We also started to use our AI algorithms to show the best appropriate stock items for a selected client. However, the last touch always will be on our real person stylists. Our data is getting important day by day, we are keeping them on top of everything. We will become a data and technology company.

What is your growth like?

Our product is ready in the market, now focusing on its design and mobile application development. Monthly subscriptions are growing MoM %30 starting from the beginning of 2019.

What are your plans for next year and the next 5 years?

We are planning to be the first player in our market then growing through MENA and Europe. We believe that subscription services will become more popular in our region. In the next 5 years, it will see the peak point. We will be ready with different subscription services using our well-developed infrastructure at that time.
