The winners of the MediaMarkt Startup Challenge, which we, as Hackquarters, have successfully worked with MediaMarkt, have been announced with the final on May 7th. After the presentations by the finalists to the jury and senior MediaMarkt executives, 3 startups had the opportunity and awards offered by MediaMarkt with the votes of the jury members, while other participants had the opportunity to communicate with MediaMarkt executives and explain their startups.

Winner of 3rd place: Pacer[/caption]Pacer won third place in the MediaMarkt Startup Challenge. Pacer improves the training processes of companies, enabling employees to receive training in a comfortable and fun way, just like using a social media application. As an award, Pacer had the opportunity to conduct a pilot study with MediaMarkt and Tekzen.

Winner of 2nd place: Udentify 2nd prize winner was Udentify, which makes analysis by recording the data such as age, gender, navigation places of customers in the store by using security cameras. Udentify had the opportunity to conduct a pilot study with MediaMarkt and Tekzen as well as an opportunity to present to more than 70 retailers in the Category Retailing Association.

Winner startup: Buy Buddy The first of the MediaMarkt Startup Challenge was Buy Buddy, which saves the store customers from the queues and allows them buy the product through mobile payment. Buy Buddy also provides easy inventory control, high security and data analysis to the stores. Thanks to the challenge, Buy Buddy had the opportunity to participate and give a presentation in the 2018 final of Retailtech Hub in Munich.
